Reservations
Reservations made directly with Haus Mannenberg become binding once confirmed by us and the required deposit has been received.
Reservations made through authorised third-party booking platforms, including Booking.com, are subject to the booking, payment and cancellation conditions confirmed through the respective platform.
All reservations remain subject to availability. Haus Mannenberg reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation in the event of an obvious pricing or technical error, suspected fraudulent activity, force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Rates
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable Swiss VAT and local tourist tax.
Rates may vary according to season, dates and applicable booking conditions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, no mandatory accommodation charges will be added after a reservation has been confirmed. Optional services, boutique purchases and additional requests are charged separately.
Payment
For reservations made directly with Haus Mannenberg, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total reservation value is required to confirm the booking.
The remaining 50% is due 30 days before arrival. For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, the full reservation value is payable at the time of booking.
If the outstanding balance is not received by the due date, Haus Mannenberg reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms are subject to the payment conditions confirmed through the respective platform.
Additional services and purchases not included in the original reservation must be settled no later than departure.
Cancellation & Modifications
For direct reservations, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will not incur any additional accommodation charge beyond the non-refundable deposit already paid.
From 30 days before arrival, the full reservation value becomes non-refundable. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival are therefore non-refundable from the time of booking.
Cancellation and modification requests must be made in writing. Changes to dates are subject to availability and may result in a change of rate.
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms are subject to the cancellation and modification conditions confirmed through the respective platform.

Historic Property
Haus Mannenberg is a carefully restored historic house dating back more than three centuries.
Original staircases, timber beams, uneven floors, stonework and other heritage features form an integral part of the property’s character.
Guests are kindly asked to move thoughtfully throughout the house and to help preserve its historic fabric.
Respect for the House
We ask all guests to treat Haus Mannenberg with the same care and consideration they would their own home.
Should accidental damage occur, we kindly ask that it is reported promptly.
Damage resulting from negligence, misuse or intentional acts may be charged accordingly.
Quiet Hours
To preserve the peaceful setting of the house and its surroundings, quiet hours apply between 22:00 and 08:00. We kindly ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours and the surrounding village. Events, parties and excessive noise are not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.
Smoking
Haus Mannenberg is a non-smoking property.
Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Smoking inside the building may result in additional cleaning, restoration or repair costs.
Sustainability
We encourage guests to help us care for both the house and its surroundings.
Simple gestures—such as using towels for more than one day, switching off lights when leaving a room, recycling where possible and avoiding unnecessary water consumption—help us preserve Haus Mannenberg for future generations.
Right to Refuse Service
Haus Mannenberg reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay where a guest engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory or illegal conduct; intentionally or recklessly damages the property; repeatedly disregards these Booking Terms; or compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.
Any right to a refund in such circumstances will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
Personal Property
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their stay.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STUMMER AG accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Liability
While every effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable stay, guests remain responsible for exercising reasonable care while using the property.
Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited under applicable law.
Force Majeure
Haus Mannenberg shall not be liable for delays, cancellations or failure to perform its obligations where such events result from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, utility failures or other unforeseen events.
Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By making a reservation or using our services, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed as described therein.

Haus Mannenberg reserves the right to amend these Booking Terms at any time.
The version published on our website at the time a reservation is made shall apply to that reservation unless otherwise required by law.
