SUSTAINABILITY
Thoughtful By Nature
At Haus Mannenberg, we believe that small, conscious choices create a more meaningful way to travel. By supporting local producers, reducing unnecessary waste and caring for our historic home, we aim to offer a stay that feels both considered and respectful of the surrounding landscape.
-
Wherever possible, we source breakfast ingredients, pantry items and pieces for the boutique from farmers, artisans and producers across the Saanenland and Bernese Oberland. It is a simple way of supporting the region while bringing a little of its character into the house.
-
Fresh towels are available on request throughout your stay. For stays of seven nights or more, bed linen is refreshed during the included mid-stay housekeeping service. Additional housekeeping or linen changes can always be arranged if required.

We encourage thoughtful use of water and energy throughout the house. Heating is carefully managed during the colder months, while the windows can be opened to let in the mountain air whenever the weather allows.
-
Haus Mannenberg is a centuries-old house that has been carefully restored with longevity in mind. We ask that you treat the house, its furnishings and the surrounding grounds with the same care you would your own home, helping us preserve it for the years ahead.
ACCESSIBILITY & PAYMENT
Practical Information
A few practical details to help you prepare for your stay. If you have particular requirements or would like to discuss anything before arriving, we’re always happy to help.
-
Dating back to the eighteenth century, Haus Mannenberg retains much of its original layout and character. The house is arranged across several floors and does not have a lift. Due to the number of staircases and historic proportions, it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.
-
Complimentary private parking is available at Haus Mannenberg, including a double garage and additional outdoor spaces. An electric vehicle charging station is planned for 2027.
-
For reservations made directly with Haus Mannenberg, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total stay is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. An additional security deposit may be requested before your stay and will be returned following departure, provided no damage has occurred. Reservations made through third-party booking platforms are subject to the payment and cancellation terms shown at the time of booking.
-
The local visitor tax is included in your reservation and provides access to the Gstaad Card, including complimentary regional public transport and a selection of seasonal benefits and discounts during your stay.
